Just a note to say thank you.

I am the Scottish guy you spoke to at Elm Cottage Caravan Park who had the problem with the Golf multiplex wiring.

I work in the motor trade myself and the situation I found myself in, far from home and needing help was the classic ''time to rip them off'' scenario. Not so with yourself. You turned up when you said you would, had the problem diagnosed and rectified in minutes then took time to explain how the multiplex system operated and where I had gone wrong in wiring it up correctly. (the wiring instructions in the kit were confusing to say the least!). Then to top it all, your callout/repair charge was very modest indeed, even for a Scotsman! (Put it his way, it cost a damn sight more the last time someone came out to fix my washing machine.)

I also took your advice and ran a second feed to power the split charge relay.

You can take pride in the fact that in my opinion you are an honest, decent guy and I wish you well for the future.

I would thoroughly recommend Mctowbars. They were the cheapest in this area and the workmanship was excellent. I would use them again for any such work in future.
